'My birthplace and first home was a narrow fronted, long stretched railway cottage which was always sprinkled with roses until my grandparents' deaths. After this time, the house was sold , half heartedly renovated, then uprooted and transported far, far away'.

Christina would visit the house during (its) brief ad hoc renovation and rummage though piles of debris in hope of finding something that could relocate her inside the house. She found two souvenir teaspoons, one broken the other twisted. They became keys which gave licence to develop Family Tincture, an installation celebrating large family reunions.
